Rain. Again.

Not all day, though! We crossed the floating bridge on the Hood Canal about 5km away from Kitsap Memorial State Park. Once we crossed the peninsula, the Olympic Discovery Trail (ODT) appeared! What a beautiful trail indeed. Sequim Bay SP gets 110% approval rating as it was literally on the ODT (no additional way-finding is a big plus while touring) and it had amazing views by the boat launch. We even saw a seal.
